Our Passions

Pursuing the Truth Ministries is passionate about the areas shown below.

Body:

The bible clearly reveals to us that God cares about people.  We know that God loves us all (John 3:16) and he proved that by sending Christ to die for us (Romans 5:8). We promote this fact to help people be free from religion and anything else that would hinder their relationship with God.  We care about people and want people to be free and prosperous.

Body:

The key to life...true life...is a relationship with God. We enter into that relationship by putting our faith in Jesus Christ for salvation instead of our own efforts.  We then come to realize how important the word of God is and subsequently knowledge of the bible.  We are very passionate about the bible because we realize how critical it is for true life and success.

Body:

We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9).  Our salvation is a gift of God and therefore not based on our performance.  We cannot deserve or earn God's love or his salvation.  Pursuing the Truth Ministries promotes this true salvation, which is by faith not by works.

Body:

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17).

We are passionate about people being librated from bondage and to be free in Christ.  We are free to be all that God wants of us. We are free to be all that is in us to be.  However, if we are not careful, we can allow ourselves to be bound by religion.  In religion we strive to follow all of the rules and we don't realize that doing so hinders our relationship with God and binds us up.  In Christ there is liberty so we need to be free.

Body:

Christianity may appear complicated if you consider the plethora of teachings online, in churches, through seminars, conferences, and more.  You may even discover teachings that contradict each others from various ministers.  You may find your head spinning trying to keep up with all of the guidelines and mandates from those teachings.  However, Christianity is very simple.  Christianity is about Jesus Christ and what he did for us.  He died on the cross, rose from the dead, and ascended to the Father.

Body:

We have a passion for the Kingdom of God because we know that God is the most important pursuit that anyone can have.  We should seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and all of our needs will be met.  This is from Matthew 6:33.  The Kingdom of God is unlike the kingdom of this world.  As a matter of fact, the Kingdom of God in many ways is contrary or the antithesis to the way the world operates.  For example, in the Kingdom of God, the servant is the greatest, whereas in the world the servant is the least.
